Run Winamp and Configure Spout
- Run Winamp from your Start menu
- If this is the first time you have run Winamp, just choose the default start up options
- If it asks you to add media to library, just skip this for now
- In Winamp’s menu, choose Options -> Visualization -> Select plug-in… (or press Ctrl+K)
- In the window that opens, click once where it says ‘Milkdrop v2.25c vis_milk2.dll’ – not the ‘Plug-in module:’ (this is the file you copied over from the Spout directory)
- Click on the ‘Configure’ button (at the bottom of this Window)
- A new window will appear. Select the ‘MORE SETTINGS’ tab at the top
- On this page, you should see the option for ‘Enable Spout output’, which should be ON
- Click on the OK button to close the configuration window
