Leaving Facebook (as much as you can)
The Guardian article wasn’t the last nail in the coffin, just a very well researched reminder.
I deleted as much from my profile as I could be bothered to and deactivated my account.
There is no delete option, sadly.
It was my intention to delete all my friends too, but I have a feeling that would just confuse and offend.
There wasn’t even an option to send a message to all my friends to clarify the situation, so decided to leave it.
