Belle Atmos video - Burgled - A Club Called Spud
The edit is done on the video we shot at last Wednesday’s Belle Atmos gig. You can see it here. Was the first outing for the new version of PatchBox that has been reconstructed more along the lines of its original conception almost three years ago!
Sadly, while I was up in London doing the gig, some reprobate(s) decided to turn over my flat in Brighton and take a few choice items. Fortunately I had all my VJ gear with me at the time, but the Wii went, along with my DVD burner and some of Louis’ DVD’s. Was pretty shaken up and I’m still feeling paranoid every time I leave the flat, even if it’s just to pop down the shops. I find it ironic that even when I was living down in south London I never experienced any trouble, but within a few months of living in, albeit very central, Brighton that I get ripped off. Understandably we’ve beefed up security somewhat, and I’m putting my many CCTV cameras bought for VJ nights to good use…
But in lighter news, I see the flyers for my first Brighton gig since my return are now doing the rounds. I’m playing at the strangely named ‘Po-Na-Na’ club on East Street with Nylon Rhythm Machine, Sophie Faricy & JFB, and Lost Idol DJ’ing, as part of the Brighton Fringe Festival on May 9th. Should be a fun night, and am looking forward to more multi-screen experimentation!
Tomorrow is a Hippo day, though I have to get up nice and early and write some blurb for the Holland Park project. Busy days…
